Today, Carlo Ancelotti was officially appointed as head coach of the Brazil national team, and the news about his arrival keeps coming in.
Details: According to Globo, Carlo Ancelotti has become the highest-paid coach in the history of national teams.
His annual salary under the contract with the Brazilian Football Federation is set at 10 million euros. Ancelotti could earn an additional 5 million in bonuses if Brazil wins the 2026 World Cup.
The contract also includes an option to extend for another two years.
Ancelotti is the first foreign coach in the history of the Brazil national team. He replaces Dorival Júnior in the role.
