The transfer window for Real Madrid is closed. This was confirmed by the team's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, during a press conference ahead of the match against Valladolid.

Real Madrid will not be signing a new player for the problematic center-back position.

"A new center-back? No. The transfer window is closed for us. We have good players, and Raúl Asencio, Jacobo Ramón, and Aurélien Tchouaméni can help us in that position," Ancelotti stated.

It's worth noting that David Alaba, who plays as a center-back for Real Madrid, is still recovering from a cruciate ligament injury.

In the first round of La Liga, Real Madrid unexpectedly drew 1-1 against Mallorca, following their 2-0 victory over Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup.
