Following yesterday's results in the Champions League, another participant in the 2025 Club World Cup has been determined, namely Juventus.

After Napoli's exit against Barcelona, it's Juventus who secures a spot in the tournament as the Italian team with the highest UEFA rating over the past 4 years.

In addition to Juventus, Serie A will also be represented by Inter Milan. The other 8 European participants in the Club World Cup 2025 are: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG, Borussia Dortmund, Porto, and Benfica.

Thus, only 2 teams remain to be determined from Europe. The winner of the current Champions League will participate in the Club World Cup along with the Spanish team with the highest UEFA rating: either Atletico or Barcelona. If the Champions League winner is a club that has already guaranteed its participation in the tournament, the last spot from Europe will go to the club with the highest club rating.

As a reminder, the 2025 Club World Cup will feature a new format: the top 32 teams from around the world.

From South America, three participants are already known: Flamengo, Palmeiras, and Fluminense. Three more will be determined later.

Asia will be represented by Saudi club Al-Hilal and Urawa Reds. The tournament will also include the winner of this season's AFC Champions League and the highest-rated team over the past 4 years.

Four participants will come from Africa. It is already known that Al-Ahly Cairo and Wydad Casablanca will compete.

From CONCACAF, participation is already guaranteed for Monterrey, Seattle, and Leon.

From the OFC region, New Zealand's Auckland City will compete.

Additionally, one team will be delegated to the tournament by the hosts, USA.

The 2025 Club World Cup will take place from June 15th to July 13th.
