The Senegalese national team returns to Dakar after winning the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. The delegation will be welcomed on Monday 19 January.
The Lions of Teranga will be received at 8:30 pm GMT at the AIBD by the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, and his government. This welcome will be exceptional, announced the Senegalese Football Federation.
The celebrations will continue on Tuesday, 20 January. At 10 am GMT, a large public parade will take place in the streets of Dakar.
The African champions will then be received at the Palace of the Republic. This event is scheduled for 3 pm GMT.
