London-based West Ham demolished Freiburg in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16. The Hammers dispatched their opponents with a resounding 5:0 victory.

The goals for the English club were scored by Paqueta, Bowen, Cresswell, with Kudus bagging a brace.

This victory marked the largest win for the London club in European competitions. Only the second time the Hammers managed to score five goals in European competition. In 1980, in a Cup Winners' Cup match, West Ham defeated Real Madrid Castilla (5:1).

Four participants for the Europa League quarter-finals have already been determined. Alongside West Ham, Milan, Marseille, and Benfica have progressed to the next round. The draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday, March 15th.
