New Manchester United head coach Rúben Amorim has promised that no players from Sporting will follow him to Old Trafford this winter. However, he has his sights set on bringing three Sporting players over in the summer transfer window.

Details: According to Sacha Tavolieri, Amorim has already informed Manchester United’s management that he wants to sign three Sporting players next summer.

Amorim is targeting two central defenders, Gonçalo Inácio and Ousmane Diomande, as well as Sporting's top scorer in the Primeira Liga, Viktor Gyökeres.

However, it’s noted that the final decision on transfers will rest with the club’s new co-owners from INEOS, not Amorim.

Reminder: Yesterday, Sporting Lisbon defeated Manchester City 4-1, ending Pep Guardiola's team’s 26-match unbeaten streak in the Champions League.

Amorim will officially start his role at Manchester United on November 11.
