The Ivory Coast international goalkeeper will now play in the Turkish top flight.
Alban Lafont is leaving France’s Ligue 1 for the Super Lig. The 27-year-old Ivorian goalkeeper has officially left Nantes to join Amedspor, the newly promoted side in the Turkish top flight.
The Ivorian international has signed a three-year contract with Amedspor. Alban Lafont arrives in Turkey with European experience, having played in Italy’s Serie A and France’s Ligue 1.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper recently took part in the 2026 World Cup with the Ivory Coast national team, where they reached the round of 32.
