Amara Diouf is back at Generation Foot
Sidelined by a cruciate ligament injury for over a year, the Senegalese prodigy is working to regain his best form.
Amara Diouf has decided to return to the club where he came through the ranks, according to local media reports. He made history in Senegal in 2023 by becoming the youngest international for the national team at just 15 years, 3 months and 2 days old, and was one of the brightest prospects in Senegalese football. He finished the 2023 U17 Africa Cup of Nations as the tournament’s best player, despite being only 14 years old.
The Senegalese player then chose to move to Europe to continue his development. However, Amara Diouf’s dream was overshadowed by a serious injury in July 2024. He suffered a cruciate ligament rupture that kept him off the pitch for a long period. But the 17-year-old has returned home, where he has been training for the past few days with Generation Foot. He wants to get back to his best and relaunch his career.
