Santos star Neymar is still recovering from an injury sustained a month ago. The footballer is working hard in the gym and has also started participating in team training sessions—he posted a photo where he's training with Santos goalkeeper João Paulo.

The Brazilian shared a repost of João Paulo's Instagram story, where they are both seen jogging on the training field. It seems Neymar's return to action is drawing closer and closer.

It's worth noting that both his teammates and fans are eagerly awaiting his return, as he is a leader and one of the key players for Santos. His absence has negatively impacted the team's performance—without Ney, Santos lost the first round match of the Brazilian championship against Vasco da Gama.

In the next round of the Brazilian Serie A, Santos will play at home against Bahia. This match is scheduled for April 7. There hasn't been any information yet on whether Neymar will be ready for this match.

Additionally, the injury also prevented Neymar from playing for the Brazilian national team, to which he was called up in March for the first time in 1.5 years.
