Alpine team celebrates Franco Colapinto's recent birthday with cake

Formula 1 rising star Franco Colapinto celebrated his 22nd birthday on May 27 and the surprises keep coming. The official Alpine F1 page shared a video of the team congratulating the Argentine driver.

In the video, Colapinto sits at a table surrounded by Alpine team members, who serenade him with a spirited rendition of “Happy Birthday!” followed by a round of applause. A special cake adorned with candles is then brought out for Franco, who blows them out to a chorus of cheers.
To highlight the significance of the moment, the video was captioned with the succinct phrase: “Can’t have a birthday without a cake 🎂.”
It’s worth noting that Colapinto only recently joined Alpine’s main roster. So far, he has competed in just two races—making appearances at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix and the Monaco Grand Prix.
And today marks the start of a new Formula 1 chapter: the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. Practice sessions are scheduled for today and tomorrow, with qualifying also set for tomorrow. The main race, as always, will take place on Sunday.
Colapinto has yet to score points in the Formula 1 standings. His best finish so far is 13th place in Monaco last weekend.
