Alonso could be followed to Bayern by one of Bayer's leaders
This summer, Bayern Munich may not only acquire Bayer Leverkusen's head coach, Xabi Alonso but also the right-back Jeremie Frimpong.
As reported by Florian Plettenberg, the Munich club is also showing interest in Bayer's right-back, with a buyout option in his contract ranging around 40-45 million euros.
Bayern Munich is dissatisfied with Noussair Mazraoui's performance this season and may sell the Moroccan in the summer to sign Frimpong. During the winter, Bayern acquired Sacha Boey from Galatasaray for the right defensive flank.
In the current season, Frimpong has displayed remarkable productivity for a player in his position. In 30 matches across all competitions, the Dutch player has contributed with 10 goals and 10 assists.
Before joining Bayer, Frimpong played for Celtic and the youth teams of Manchester City.
