Sheffield United, the main outsider of the Premier League, suffered another defeat this season. In the 34th round, the Blades were convincingly beaten at home by Burnley with a score of 1:4.

Sheffield has now conceded 50 goals at home in the current season of the domestic league. They have become only the third team in the history of English championships, after Aston Villa in the 1935-36 season (56) and Chelsea in the 1959-60 season (50), to concede more than 50 goals in home matches in a single season.

However, Sheffield still has two more home matches to play this season. If they continue in the same vein, they could well set the record for most goals conceded at home in a season in English championships.

After 33 matches played, the Blades sit at the bottom of the Premier League table with 16 points. They are 10 points adrift from safety, having already conceded a total of 88 goals.
