Almost Like Dad! Thiago Messi Shines Under the Number 10 on the Field in Rosario
Lionel Messi’s son, Thiago, is currently participating in the U-13 tournament in Rosario, the hometown of his famous father, reports Bild. Thiago, now playing for Inter Miami, is showcasing his skills in front of his father’s hometown crowd.
Just like his dad, Thiago wears the number 10 and plays as an attacking midfielder. Who knows, we may soon witness the reincarnation of Leo Messi on the field in adult football!
On the field alongside Thiago is the son of Luis Suárez, Benjamín, and together, they are helping their team compete for the Illinois Newell’s Cup.
Thiago’s match is being watched from the stands by his brothers, mother, and grandmother (Leo’s mother), though Lionel Messi himself is not present. He is currently playing for the senior Inter Miami team in Major League Soccer.
As a reminder, Leo Messi moved to the United States from PSG as a free agent in the summer of 2023. Over two years with the club, Messi scored 34 goals and provided 18 assists in 39 matches. With Messi, Inter Miami also won their first-ever trophy, the 2023 Leagues Cup.
And, of course, Messi made history in 2022 by winning the World Cup, fulfilling a lifelong dream.
