All trump cards in Manchester United hands? Talented forward leaves Arsenal
Young forward Chido Obi Martin is leaving Arsenal London.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 16-year-old academy graduate will not sign a new contract with the "Gunners" and will leave his home club as a free agent.
Chido will decide on his next club soon after speaking with English and German clubs.
Previously, it was reported that Manchester United is attempting to lure Obi Martin to their ranks. The "Red Devils" are actively working on signing the player and aim to finalize negotiations as soon as possible.
Interestingly, Obi Martin cannot yet sign a professional contract as it is only allowed from the age of 17, and he is currently 16. Last season, the young forward scored 32 goals in 18 matches for Arsenal's U-18 team, including seven goals in one match against Norwich. He also scored 10 goals in a match against Liverpool for the U-16 team.
At the U-17 level, Obi Martin represents Denmark, although he previously played for England in the U-16 category.
