The Frenchman could become one of the highest-paid players among the Reds.

Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Sacha Tavolieri on his X social media page, English side Liverpool have made a final contract extension offer to 26-year-old French defender Ibrahima Konaté.

It is reported that if Konaté agrees to sign the new contract, he will become one of Liverpool's top earners. The club's management genuinely believes they can keep Konaté, but this offer is final—if he turns it down, the club will not attempt to renew the deal again.

Konaté himself has repeatedly hinted at his strong desire to join Real Madrid. The final decision will be made in the near future.

Konaté's current contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2026, after which the Frenchman could become a free agent and move to Real for free.

This season, Konaté has played 16 matches for Liverpool, scoring 1 goal.
