Aliou Cisse could bounce back in Angola

The Senegalese tactician could take the reins of the Angolan national team.

Aliou Cisse is unlikely to be out of work for long following his departure from the Libyan national team. Having left his post in Libya on 8 April 2026, the Senegalese coach may already have found a new home. He is tipped to take charge of the Angola national team’s coaching staff.

According to reports, the 50-year-old Senegalese coach has agreed to manage the Palancas Negras. He is expected to sign a two-year contract with the Angolan national team.
