A few days ago, Brazilian winger Neymar sustained another injury, leading club management to reconsider including him for the second half of the season.

Details: According to journalist Walid Al-Faraj, the club informed authorities that it does not plan to register Neymar for the second part of the season. The reason is that this spot should go to a player who can contribute to the team.

Furthermore, Al-Hilal now faces a decision on whether to terminate his current contract, which runs until the summer of 2025, or to sell him during the January transfer window.

Reminder: The former PSG and Barcelona forward has barely played due to injuries, sustaining yet another setback in a recent match against Esteghlal.

There have also been reports that Neymar’s former club, Santos, is highly interested in bringing him back, especially as they are close to earning promotion from Serie B to Serie A in Brazil.

Neymar has been sidelined after suffering an ACL tear in his knee during a 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay.
