Algerian international Mohammed Amoura joins OGC Nice on loan

The centre-forward has been loaned out by Wolfsburg for one season with an option to buy.

Mohammed Amoura will be playing in France’s Ligue 1 this season. The 26-year-old Algerian international will be representing OGC Nice, having officially joined the club.

Amoura has left Wolfsburg in the German second division to join the French club on a season-long loan. The loan agreement between Nice and Wolfsburg for the Algerian striker includes an option to buy.

Mohammed Amoura is a significant attacking addition for OGC Nice in Ligue 1. Last season, the Algerian international scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

On his arrival in Nice, Mohammed Amoura shared his first thoughts.

“I know Ligue 1 well and I know OGC Nice well. I have loads of friends who have played here. I know last season wasn’t easy, but I also know there are always big ambitions. I liked what the club officials and the manager had to say. I know the fans are passionate, and I like that too. I hope we’ll have a good season.”
