Algeria - Friendly Matches : Farès Chaïbi Out
The list of absentees for the Algerian team's upcoming matches is growing. After the absences of Ramy Bensebaïni and Youcef Belaïli, another blow has struck the Greens. Farès Chaïbi, midfielder for Eintracht Frankfurt, will not participate in the friendly matches scheduled in Saudi Arabia.
Due to a thigh muscle injury, Chaïbi, who was expected to join his teammates in Jeddah, had to withdraw from the squad. The cause of this injury is known. He left the field at halftime during his club's 1-0 victory against Mainz in the Bundesliga.
The information has been confirmed by the Algerian Football Federation (FAF). Chaïbi will remain in Germany to receive the necessary treatment, which complicates matters for coach Vladimir Petković.
The Algerian team will face Zimbabwe on November 13 and Saudi Arabia on November 18.
