Details: According to L'Équipe, the French striker has decided to leave Lyon once the current season concludes. Alexandre Lacazette will become a free agent.
This season, the forward has made 29 appearances for Lyon, netting 13 goals and providing two assists. In total, Lacazette has played 390 matches for the French club, scoring 199 goals and registering 55 assists. In the final matchday of the league, he has the chance to reach a milestone 200th goal.
Notably, PSG has shown interest in the player on several occasions, but negotiations have always stalled at a certain stage. This time, PSG management does not intend to enter talks with the player’s entourage or the club after the season ends.
Reminder: Lyon will face Angers in the final matchday of the 2024/25 Ligue 1 season. The game is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, with kickoff at 21:00 Central European Time.
