Alcaraz convincingly defeated Tsitsipas and advanced to the semifinals of Roland Garros

World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz faced off against World No. 9 Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals of the Roland Garros tennis tournament.

The first set concluded quickly in just 32 minutes, with the Spanish tennis player taking the set 6-3. In the second set, Tsitsipas put up a stronger fight and managed to push it to a tiebreak, where Alcaraz again prevailed, 7-3. The Greek athlete started the third set better, but couldn't close the gap.

Alcaraz claimed the third set 6-4, securing a convincing 3-0 victory. The match lasted 2 hours and 18 minutes. The Spaniard will next play in the semifinals against Italian Jannik Sinner.
