On March 16th, the world's second-ranked player, Carlos Alcaraz from Spain, will face off against Jannik Sinner from Italy, ranked third in the ATP, in the semifinals of the Indian Wells ATP 1000 hardcourt tournament in the United States.

The encounter between these two young talents at the Masters will mark their 9th face-off. Currently, the head-to-head stands at 4-4, with the last 2 matches won by the Italian.

During a press conference, Alcaraz commented on the upcoming super match against Sinner:

- Your next match is against Jannik Sinner. You have already established an incredible rivalry at a young age. Could you tell us a bit about this, what it means to you, and how you have adapted and made changes to play with him more effectively?

- Well, honestly, I don't know how I will prepare for the game, how I will prepare for the match. He is currently the best tennis player in the world, without a doubt.

He plays incredibly, undefeated this year. I really enjoy watching his game. So it will be a very tough match. It will be a big challenge for me to understand what my level is.

I lost the last two matches against him, so I'll have to adjust my game a bit, and we'll see how it all turns out. But it will definitely be the toughest match I play this year.
