Details: Today, PSG's official X (formerly Twitter) account released a medical update stating that the team's 28-year-old forward, Ousmane Dembélé, is experiencing severe discomfort in his left calf muscle, forcing him to miss team training sessions.
It is reported that Dembélé is currently following an individual training program in the gym. As of now, his participation in the upcoming Ligue 1 clash against Metz and the Champions League showdown with Monaco remains in doubt.
Ousmane Dembélé sustained his injury in the first leg of the Champions League playoffs against Monaco and was substituted in the 27th minute.
This season, Dembélé has featured in 25 matches for PSG, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists.
The return leg of the Champions League playoffs between PSG and Monaco will take place on February 25 at Parc des Princes. The first leg ended 3-2 in PSG's favor.
