Today's training session for Munich's Bayern was marred by an unfortunate incident involving defender Josip Stanišić.
Details: According to Philipp Kessler, during a training drill, Jonathan Tah unintentionally stepped on the Croatian's right foot at full speed while challenging for the ball. The situation appears particularly serious as the impact was on the same leg where Stanišić previously suffered a torn ankle ligament.

Immediately after the collision, the Croatian noticeably limped and left the pitch to receive first aid. After a brief check from the medical staff, Stanišić attempted to rejoin the group and continue the session. However, just a few minutes later, he realized he could not train at full strength and was forced to leave the pitch early.
At this time, the exact nature of the injury and the defender's recovery timeline remain unknown.
It's worth noting that Bayern's next match is in Bundesliga round 21 against Hoffenheim. The game is scheduled for Sunday, February 8, at 17:30 Central European Time. Most likely, we will not see the Croatian on the pitch.
Reminder: Bayern defender Dayot Upamecano has agreed to a new contract with the club.
