Al-Shabab confirm the signing of Senegalese goalkeeper Mory Diaw
The Senegalese international has officially left Le Havre in France’s Ligue 1 to join the Saudi league. He will now play for Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League.
The Senegalese goalkeeper’s arrival was confirmed by the Saudi club on Monday 24 August. However, the Saudi side has not disclosed the details of Mory Diaw’s transfer, as he left Le Havre with one year remaining on his contract.
Some sources nevertheless claim that the 33-year-old Senegalese goalkeeper has signed a one-year contract. Mory Diaw, who has played in Europe for several seasons, will now make his debut in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Shabab. The Senegalese goalkeeper is thus embarking on a new chapter in his professional career.
