Saudi clubs are showing no restraint on the transfer market. According to Footmercato journalist Santi Aouna, Al-Hilal is actively pursuing another high-profile signing and is preparing an eye-watering offer for an 18-year-old prospect.
The Saudi giants have set their sights on Kader Meïté. The 18-year-old striker joined Rennes' academy in 2022 and has since earned a spot in the first team. This Ligue 1 season, he has made 15 appearances, netting three goals and providing two assists.
Reports indicate that the Saudi club has already tabled a €40 million bid for the young Frenchman. For now, the fate of the transfer remains up in the air. Meïté himself is seriously weighing whether a move to Saudi Arabia at such a young age is the right step, and has yet to make a final decision.
