Al Hilal Omdurman return to Sudan after winning the Rwandan Premier League
The club returns home
The club will now take part in a mini-tournament to secure a place in next season’s CAF Champions League.
Due to the war, Al Hilal Omdurman has not played in the Sudanese league since the start of the conflict in the country. This season, the club competed in the Rwandan league, where it was crowned Premier League champions a few days ago.
Following this triumph, Al Hilal Omdurman is back on home soil in Sudan. To secure its place in the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League, Al Hilal will compete in a mini-tournament in Sudan. It is at the end of this tournament that it could secure a place in next season’s competition.
Upon its arrival in Sudan, the Al Hilal Omdurman delegation visited the site of its stadium.
