Al Ahly Targets Major Squad Overhaul Ahead of Winter Transfer Window

Al Ahly is preparing to make important additions to bolster its roster in anticipation of important domestic and international games as the January transfer window draws near.

A number of players could be leaving the squad due to recent defeats, which include losses to Pachuca in the Intercontinental Cup and Zamalek in the African Super Cup.

• Percy Tau: The South African winger's decline in form may lead to his departure in January.

• Kahraba: Struggling for form, he could be sold to make room for a new forward.

• Youssef Ayman: The loan from Al-Duhail could be cut short due to dissatisfaction with his performances.

• Ali Maaloul: His status is uncertain due to injury and managerial concerns about his future.

• Reda Slim: An injury could complicate his exit plans as he’s sidelined for up to six months.

Al Ahly is expected to focus on securing a top-tier forward and a right-winger while reinforcing their foreign player slots.
