Al Ahly Complete Signing of Tunisian Midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane

Al Ahly SC have officially secured the services of Tunisian international Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane from Hungarian club Ferencvaros, announcing the transfer on Tuesday via their official platforms.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who previously starred for Tunisian giants Esperance, completed all formalities to join the reigning African champions. Although contract details remain undisclosed, Ferencvaros confirmed they accepted Al Ahly’s offer, paving the way for the move to Cairo.

This signing is the club’s fourth major addition during a busy summer transfer window, following:

• Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” from Trabzonspor
• Hamdy Fathy on loan from Al Wakrah
• Goalkeeper Mohamed Seha from Al Mokawloon Al Arab

Al Ahly are also close to finalizing a high-profile deal for Ahmed Sayed Zizo once his contract with Zamalek ends.

With the FIFA Club World Cup scheduled from June 14 to July 13, Al Ahly are clearly reinforcing their squad to mount a serious challenge on the global stage.
