Al Ahli are in transfer talks for England national team forward

Yesterday, Brentford's star striker Ivan Toney was absent from the squad for their match against Crystal Palace (2-1), with head coach Thomas Frank citing ongoing negotiations with another club as the reason.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the club in question is Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli. Brentford has rejected an initial offer of €35 million, but discussions are ongoing.

It is also reported that Toney and his family have yet to give their final approval for the move to Saudi Arabia.

Throughout his career, Toney has made 85 Premier League appearances, scoring 35 goals.

Last season, Al-Ahli finished third in the Saudi Pro League.
