Akor Adams Scores Winner as Sevilla Fight Back to Beat Villarreal 3-2

Akor Adams was the hero for Sevilla as the Nigerian striker scored the winning goal in a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over Villarreal.

Villarreal raced into a two-goal lead inside the opening 20 minutes through Gerard Moreno and Georges Mikautadze.

Sevilla responded before halftime, with Oso pulling one back in the 36th minute before Kike Salas levelled the score just before the break.

Adams then completed the comeback with the decisive goal 18 minutes from time, taking his tally to 10 La Liga goals this season.

Sevilla will now turn their attention to Sunday’s league clash against Real Madrid.
