Akor Adams Scores Twice on Sevilla Return After AFCON to Rescue Draw Against Elche

Sevilla striker Akor Adams enjoyed a dream return to club football on Monday night, coming off the bench to score twice and earn his side a crucial 2–2 draw against Elche following his Africa Cup of Nations campaign.

Fresh from international duty, Adams started the match among the substitutes but was introduced in the second half in place of Gerard Fernández. The Nigerian forward made an immediate impact, finding the net twice to haul Sevilla back into the contest and bring an end to the club’s four-game losing streak across all competitions.

The brace continued Adams’ impressive form in La Liga this season. He has now recorded five goals and two assists in 15 league appearances, underlining his growing importance to the Sevilla attack.
