Ajax star Devyne Rensch on the verge of joining Roma
Roma has struggled during the first half of the current season, prompting the club to bolster its defense this winter by targeting the right flank.
Details: According to Nicolo Schira, Ajax right-back Devyne Rensch is set to become a Roma player in the near future.
The transfer fee is reported to be around €7 million. Ajax has little choice but to let the 21-year-old leave during the winter window, as his contract expires this summer, potentially making him a free agent.
Roma has already agreed on a five-year contract with Rensch, with both parties nearing the finalization of the deal.
Rensch has been part of Ajax’s first team since the age of 17, recording 10 goals and 12 assists across 155 matches for his boyhood club.
Reminder: It was recently reported that Roma’s American owners are also targeting Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi.
