Ajax Close to Signing Udinese Teenager Abdoulaye Camara in €15m Deal

Ajax are reportedly close to completing a deal for Udinese youngster Abdoulaye Camara, according to French newspaper L’Équipe.

The Dutch club have reached an agreement with Udinese over a loan move for the 17-year-old, which is expected to include a virtually mandatory €15 million buyout clause. The clause would become automatic if certain conditions are met.

Camara has been given permission to travel to the Netherlands for his medical. He is expected to sign his contract immediately after completing the necessary formalities.

If Ajax trigger the buyout clause, the Guinea-born midfielder will reportedly sign a long-term contract running until 2031.

Camara joined Udinese last summer and spent much of the 2025/26 campaign training with the first team. He made one Serie A appearance during the season.
