Ajax are looking to sign a Moroccan midfielder
He currently plays for Girona FC
The Dutch club are in talks to sign Azzedine Ounahi.
The Moroccan international is not expected to play in La Liga 2, the Spanish second tier, next season following Girona FC’s relegation. Azzedine Ounahi, who put in some fine performances for Morocco at the 2026 World Cup, could be set for a move to the Eredivisie.
The 26-year-old midfielder has caught the eye of Ajax, who are keen to sign him this summer. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch club are in talks with both the Spanish club and the player.
Azzedine Ounahi’s contract with Girona FC includes a release clause of 25 million euros.
