The former Egyptian international has decided to hang up his boots after a long and distinguished career.
Ahmed Hegazi will no longer play football as a professional. The Egyptian defender has decided to bring his career to an end after playing for several clubs in Egypt, Europe and Asia.
The 35-year-old centre-back has represented Ismaily, Al Ahly SC, Fiorentina, West Brom, Al Ittihad and, most recently, Neom SC. However, in a statement on social media, Ahmed Hegazi announced that he was bringing his professional career to an end.
The Egyptian defender has won several titles, including the Egyptian Premier League with Al Ahly SC.
