Aguero demands payment from Barcelona almost three years after leaving the club

Although Argentine striker Sergio Aguero's career ended back in December 2021, the former forward is now facing financial issues with one of his former clubs — Barcelona.
Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, Aguero has not forgotten that the Catalan club owes him three million euros after he was forced to leave not only Barcelona but also football altogether. However, both parties are nearing a settlement, though a court decision is still pending.
Reminder: Aguero joined Barcelona in the summer of 2021 as a free agent from Manchester City, but by October, he experienced heart problems during a match against Alaves. After undergoing examinations, doctors advised him to retire from football, and he heeded their advice, announcing his retirement in December 2021. Aguero has previously stated that he would be open to becoming the owner of a football club.
