Agreement reached. Maignan to sign a new contract with Milan on improved terms

Milan has reached a preliminary agreement with goalkeeper Mike Maignan on a new contract, which is expected to run until the summer of 2028. The deal will significantly improve the French shot-stopper’s conditions, making him one of the highest-paid players at the club.

Details: According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Maignan's salary will be around €5 million per year, bringing him in line with Christian Pulisic and Theo Hernández. Currently, Rafael Leão is Milan’s highest-paid player.

Reminder: Maignan is under contract with the club until the summer of 2026. However, if a new deal is not signed, he could become a serious transfer target for European giants in the summer of 2025. In the coming weeks, the club and the goalkeeper’s representatives plan to meet again to finalize the new agreement.
