Details: According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri management has decided to activate this option, despite the player being 40 years old, and the new contract is expected to be finalized soon.
Reports indicate that Milan are pleased with the veteran's contribution to the team and see him as a key figure capable of leading the squad to success and inspiring the next generation of players.
This season, Modrić has featured in 12 matches across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing two assists. He has already become the oldest midfielder in history to score in Serie A.
