Manchester United has ramped up its efforts to sign Sunderland’s 20-year-old midfielder Noa Sadiki after Chelsea also entered the race for his signature. Securing Sadiki has become a priority for the Red Devils amid ongoing uncertainty in their midfield and a strong desire to strengthen the center of the park in January.
According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils are moving quickly and see Sadiki as a more attainable alternative to Carlos Baleba, whose price tag exceeds £100 million. The young DR Congo midfielder is expected to favor a move to Manchester, where he’s likely to get more game time than he would in London.

For the record, Sadiki joined Sunderland last summer for £15 million and immediately became a key player, starting all 15 Premier League matches this season. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value stands at €25 million.
