The two main teams of Real Madrid have lost their coaches at the end of this season. Following the departure in the first team, Castilla will also see a change at the helm.
Details: Real Madrid has issued a statement announcing Raul's decision to step down as the coach of the reserve team. There is no information yet on who will succeed him.
Background: Raul has been working within the Real Madrid system since 2018, and a year later took charge of Castilla—the club's second team. The legendary Spaniard was firmly convinced he would follow in the footsteps of Zinedine Zidane, who, after managing Castilla, took over the first team.
