London's Chelsea delivered one of the most dazzling performances of the FA Cup season, demolishing Port Vale and rewriting several statistical records along the way.
The main hero of the match was 18-year-old Estêvão. At just 18 years and 345 days old, he scored a goal and registered an assist, becoming the youngest Premier League club player to achieve such a feat in the FA Cup since Bukayo Saka did it for Arsenal in January 2020.
But individual brilliance was just one part of the Blues’ overall dominance. The team netted seven or more goals in a quarter-final clash—something not seen at this stage since the 2005/06 season, when Liverpool thrashed Birmingham City 7-0.
