Women’s football star Asisat Oshoala, formerly of Barcelona, has revealed her first-ever tattoo. The Nigerian forward shared a photo of the new ink on Snapchat—but it wasn’t a tribute to Barcelona.
The image shows her forearm adorned with fresh ink, featuring the name Bay FC on a red background, honoring the American club she joined in 2024.

Bay FC is a newly formed team that began competing in the U.S. league in 2024, and Oshoala has already established herself as their key striker. In her debut season, she netted eight goals and provided one assist, playing a crucial role in securing Bay FC’s seventh-place finish in the league.
Oshoala holds the record for most African Women's Player of the Year awards, having won the title six times. During her time at Barcelona, she claimed five Spanish league titles and lifted the Women's Champions League trophy twice.
Since making her international debut in 2013, Oshoala has played 61 matches for Nigeria, scoring 37 goals. She has also helped her national team win the Women's Africa Cup of Nations three times.
