African Qualifiers for the U20 Women's World Cup: Here are the countries that have qualified for the fourth and final round
Eight teams have reached this final stage.
They are continuing their dream of reaching the 2026 U20 Women's World Cup in Poland. In the third round, played over two legs, Ivory Coast eliminated DR Congo thanks to their 2-0 victory in the first leg, despite losing the return leg 1-0 in Lubumbashi.
After losing 1-0 to Botswana on Friday 13 February in the second leg, Cameroon's U20 women's team relied on their 5-0 victory in the first leg to eliminate Botswana and secure their place in the tournament.
Nigeria's Super Falconets dominated Senegal's Lioncelles in their double confrontation (1-0; 1-2) to continue their journey to Poland. Malawi, for its part, eliminated Guinea-Bissau on Saturday 14 February at the Bingu National Stadium.
The Malawian U20s won comfortably (5-1) in the second leg after a 1-1 draw in the first leg. Ghana defeated South Africa after a hard-fought doubleheader.
The Black Princesses first conceded a 2-2 draw in Accra against the Basetsana before clinching qualification on South African soil.
