AFCON 2027 qualifiers: Youssef En-Nesyri returns, Ayoub Oufkir called up for the first time by Mohamed Ouahbi

Morocco are preparing for their double-header against Niger with several changes to their squad.

Ahead of the third and fourth matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, scheduled for 13 and 17 November, the Atlas Lions’ manager, Mohamed Ouahbi, has unveiled his squad list.

This squad is notably marked by the return of Youssef En-Nesyri. The striker rejoins the squad alongside Reda Belahyane, Souffian El Karouani and Amine Sbai, who are also back in the squad.

However, Morocco will have to do without Ismaël Saibari and Azzedine Ounahi. Both players are ruled out due to serious injuries. Several other absences are also worth noting, notably those of Amine Harit, Amine Adli, Chemsdine Talbi, Zakaria El Ouahdi, Sofyan Amrabat, Samir El Mourabet, Marouane Saadane and Tawfik Bentayeb.

Furthermore, the squad features a new face: Ayoub Oufkir. The player has thus received his very first call-up to the Atlas Lions.
