AFCON 2027 qualifiers: Mozambique name squad for double-header against Ethiopia
The Mozambique national team are gearing up for the third and fourth matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Mambas will face Ethiopia in a double-header during the November 2026 international break. Chiquinho Conde’s side will play their third qualifying match at home on 13 November at the Estádio Nacional do Zimpeto.
The Mozambican side will then travel to Ethiopia four days later. This fourth-round qualifier is scheduled for 17 November at the Bahir Dar International Stadium.
Following a promising start to the qualifying campaign, marked by a draw and a win, Mozambique will be looking to maximise their chances of qualification over the next two matchdays. Chiquinho Conde’s side sit top of Group J with 4 points, ahead of Senegal, who have the same number of points.
