AFCON 2027 Qualifiers: Burundi Name Squad for Zambia Double-Header

Burundi have announced their squad for this month’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Zambia as they look to revive their campaign in Group I.

The East African side are yet to record a win after the opening two rounds of qualifiers in September. They suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Togo before playing out a 2-2 draw with Algeria.

Those results leave Burundi at the bottom of Group I with just one point, making the upcoming meetings with Zambia important as they seek their first victory in the campaign.
