AFCON 2027 Qualifier: Comoros Beat Namibia 1-0 to Claim First Victory

The Comoros picked up their first win of the AFCON 2027 qualifiers after edging Namibia 1-0 in their Group G clash on Tuesday.

After a goalless first half, the decisive moment arrived nine minutes after the restart when Benjaloud Youssouf broke the deadlock in the 54th minute.

The goal proved enough for Comoros to secure all three points and recover from their 3-1 defeat to Cameroon in their opening qualifying fixture.

The victory puts Comoros on three points after two matches, level with Namibia and Cameroon in Group G. Cameroon, however, still has a game in hand.
