AFCON 2025: 21 Teams Confirm Qualification as Race for Final Spots Intensifies

With only three spots left, 21 teams have already earned their place in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will be held in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
Sudan and Benin are the most recent teams to qualify, thanks to important results from Monday's matches. The remaining spots will be determined during Tuesday's final qualification games, where teams will compete fiercely for a chance to participate in Africa's top football event.
Qualified Teams So Far:
North Africa: Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco (hosts).
West Africa: Senegal, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Benin, Guinea-Bissau.
East Africa: Uganda, Comoros.
Central Africa: Cameroon, Gabon, DR Congo, Equatorial Guinea.
Southern Africa: South Africa, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Others: Mali, Sudan.
