Ivorian forward Sébastien Haller, whose career has recently been on a downward trajectory, will seek to revive it at a familiar club.
Details: According to Voetbal International, Haller will return to Borussia Dortmund after a disappointing loan spell at Leganés.
However, he is not expected to stay in Dortmund. In January, Haller will join Utrecht on loan, a club he previously played for.
During his time at Leganés, Haller failed to register any goals or assists in nine matches across all competitions.
Haller previously played for Utrecht between 2015 and 2017, scoring 51 goals and providing 16 assists in 98 appearances.
Reminder: Recently, reports emerged that Bayern Munich is interested in Borussia Dortmund’s rising star Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
In the last AFCON 2023, Haller scored the decisive goal for Ivory Coast in the final against Nigeria.
